Certificate course in Aromatherapy
The duration of the certificate course in aromatherapy is of one year full time. Students can even opt for a part time course equivalent to the full time course. The remedial therapy graduates are able to do clinical practice. They can either start their practice alone or along with a partner. Certificate graduates have career opportunities in fields like education, community, and health retreats. The course includes the following subjects Remedial Therapy, Medical Sciences, Clinic Management and Electives. It is mandatory to complete these courses along with one elective. In addition, the students have to hold a current certificate in Senior First Aid at the end of completion.
Diploma course in Aromatherapy
The duration of this course lasts up to one and a half years. On completing this diploma course the degree holders can do clinical practice. They could open a private clinic along with a partner or work in another clinic. The degree holders can look for career opportunities in education, social welfare, sales and other health care fields. This course includes four subjects, they are, Remedial Therapies, Medical Sciences, Clinic Management and Electives. It is compulsory to study these subjects. The students have to choose one elective out of the many electives that will be offered. Similar to the certificate course, the students of this degree also have to hold a certificate in Senior First Aid.
